Browser history refers to the webpages you have visited recently. Your iPhone saves these URLs so that you can quickly revisit them later. If you want to keep your web browsing private, or if you simply need to free up some space on your device, you can clear your browser history. Here’s how:
First, open the Safari app on your iPhone. Then, tap the bookmarks icon (it looks like an open book).
tap “History” at the bottom of the screen.
On the next screen, tap “Clear” at the top right of the screen.
Finally, confirm that you want to clear your history by tapping “Clear History” again.
In the Safari app on your iPhone, tap the bookmark icon.
Tap the History tab.
Tap Clear, then tap Clear History.
The process of clearing your Safari browser history is straightforward and only takes a few moments to complete. Here’s how to do it:
Open Safari on your iPhone and tap the bookmarks icon (the open book).
Tap the History tab at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Clear at the bottom of the screen.
Select how far back in time you want to clear your browsing history. You can choose from the last hour, today, today and yesterday, or all history.
Tap Clear History to confirm.
