How to Clear Your History on Google Chrome

Learn how to clear your history on Google Chrome so that your browsing data is no longer stored. This is a simple and quick process that only takes a few steps.

Open Google Chrome on your device.

At the top right of your screen, click More and then click History.
On the left, click Clear browsing data.
A box will appear. From the drop-down menu, select how much history you want to delete. To clear everything, select All time.
Check the boxes for the info you want Chrome to clear, including “browsing history.”
At the bottom, click Clear Data.

Tap on the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
At the top right, tap More > History.

Next to “Time range,” select how much history you want to delete. To clear everything, tap All time.

Select the time period for which you want to clear your history.

At the top right of your chrome window, click the three dots icon. Select More tools, then Clear browsing data. At the top, choose a time range for which you want to clear your history. To select all time, click the drop-down menu next to “Time range,” then click All time. Check the boxes next to “Browsing history,” “Download history,” “Cookies and other site data,” and “Cached images and files.” You can also check other types of data if you want to clear them as well.
