If you’re using Safari and want to clear your browsing history, follow these simple steps.

To open Safari, click the Safari icon in the Dock at the bottom of your screen. If you don’t see the Safari icon, check your Dock’s settings. To do this, click the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen. Then, click System Preferences > Dock. Check the box next to Show recent applications in Dock.
From the Safari drop-down menu, select Preferences.
In the window that pops up, click on the Privacy tab.
Under the Privacy tab, you will see a section labeled “Remove all Website Data.”
Click on “Remove Now” to clear your Safari history.
In the Safari app on your Mac, do any of the following:
Clear your browsing history: Choose History > Clear History, then click the Clear button.
Delete specific history items: Choose History > Show All History, select the items you want to delete, then press the Delete key.
Stop storing history: Choose Safari > Preferences, click Privacy, then deselect ”Remember search and form history.“
Click on the Privacy tab.
To clear your history on Safari, click on the Privacy tab. On the left-hand side, you will see a button that says “Clear History.” Click this button, and a drop-down menu will appear. Select the amount of time you want to clear your history for, and then click “Clear History.” A pop-up window will appear asking if you are sure you want to clear your history. Click “Clear” to confirm.
If you want to clear your entire browsing history, click on the Remove All Website Data button. This will remove all of the data that Safari has stored for websites, including cookies, cache files, and other types of data.
Assuming you want to remove all of your history:
Open Safari. Its icon looks like a blue compass in your Mac’s Dock.
Click on the Safari menu. It’s at the top of your screen and says “Safari.” A drop-down menu will appear.
Click on Preferences… It’s near the bottom of the drop-down menu. A new window will pop up.
Click on the Privacy tab. You should see it at the top of the new window.
Click on Remove History…. It’s in the section titled “History.” A new window called “Remove History” will pop up.
Click on the Remove Now button to confirm. Your history will be erased immediately!
