How to Clear Your YouTube Search History

Open YouTube and sign in

To clear your entire watch history, head to the main YouTube tab on the left side of the home screen. In the top-right corner of the main YouTube tab, you’ll see three icons: one for your account (which opens a drop-down menu when tapped), a bell-shaped notifications icon, and aHistory

icon. Tap on theHistoryicon. You may be prompted to sign in to YouTube if you’re not already logged in.

2. Scroll down to “History: and click on it.
3. Under “History Type” on the right, select “Search History.”
4. To clear your entire search history, click on the trash can icon next to the “Search History” heading. To clear individual searches, hover over the search you want to remove and click on the x that appears.

Open YouTube and sign in. In the top right corner of the main screen, click on your profile icon. A drop-down menu will appear. Select “History:View history” from the drop-down menu. This will take you to your history page, where you can view all of the videos you have watched on YouTube, as well as the searches you have made.

To clear your search history, click on “Clear all search history.” A pop-up window will appear, asking you to confirm that you want to clear your entire search history. Click “OK.” Your search history has now been cleared.

Here’s how to clear your YouTube search history:

1. Go to https://www.youtube.com/feed/history in your web browser.
2. Click the “CLEAR ALL VIEWING HISTORY” button under “History Type”.
3. Click the “CLEAR WATCH HISTORY” button to confirm.

Your YouTube search history is now cleared!

When you log into your YouTube account and head to the search bar, you may notice a row of recent searches beneath it. If you click on the 3-dot icon next to a recent search, you can remove that single search from your history, but what if you want to delete all of them? Here’s how to clear your YouTube search history.

First, log into your YouTube account and click on the 3-line icon in the top left corner of the main screen. This will open up a menu of options. Scroll down and hover over “History: Near the bottom of this menu, you should see “History Type.” Click on this to expand the menu further and select “Search.”

You will be taken to a new page that shows all of your recent searches. At the top of this page, there is a box that says “Clear all search history.” Click on this.

A box will pop up asking if you’re sure you want to clear your entire history- select “OK” and your YouTube search history will be erased!
