How to Delete Your Search History From Your iPhone

If you want to keep your iPhone searches to yourself, you can clear your search history. Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps.

Open the Settings app on your iPhone

Tap the Settings icon on your Home screen to open the Settings app, then tap Safari in the main Settings menu. In the Safari Settings menu, scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data. A pop-up window will appear asking if you’re sure you want to delete your history; tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

You can delete your Safari search history by following these steps:

1. Open Settings and tap Safari.
2. Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
3. Tap Clear History and Data to confirm.

Assuming you want to delete your Safari search history:

1. Open Safari.
2. Tap the bookmarks icon (it looks like an open book).
3. Tap theHistory tab at the bottom of the screen.
4. Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data.
5. In the pop-up, tap Clear History and Data to confirm your choice.

Tap Clear History and Data

If you want to delete your entire search history, tap the Clear History and Data button at the bottom of the screen. This will clear your history as well as cookies and other data stored by Safari.

Confirm by tapping Clear History and Data

Under “History,” tap Clear Browsing Data. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. Next to “Cookies and site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes. Tap Clear data.
